artist statement
'an uninterrupted flow of curiosity'
When looking profoundly into something, it is possible to see how things connect, how they relate to each other, how they depend on one another. Being an artist, for me, is to never stop discovering, to never lose curiosity to frustration. The essence of discovery is that we make the path.
I do not enter the creative process like one enters a cage, but instead, I let it open me up, allowing my reflection to emerge in what unfolds. Rather than setting a final concept in stone, I allow it to surface as I move through my work.
Through the exploration of various mediums, I avoid the boundaries of any single form, letting each material speak in its own language. My aim is to find the depth beneath the surface and bring clarity to the emotions that arise.

personal data
Born in Budapest, Hungary

Master’s degree in European Studies from Corvinus University of Economic Sciences, Budapest (1998).
Final semester studies at Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) in 1996, with a focus on the theory of Globalisation.

After completing my studies, I worked as a freelance graphic designer for over a decade, primarily shaping the visual identity of key figures in Hungary's underground electronic and experimental music scene. Between 2007 and 2012, I gradually transitioned from graphic design to visual arts.

In 2020, I created "Jackson Collapse" as a conceptual artistic identity focused on challenging and dismantling rigid societal and personal constructs. Through multimedia approaches such as video art, performance, and poetry, Jackson Collapse explores themes of entropy, transformation, and the fluidity of existence. The name itself embodies the idea of breakdown and reformation, symbolizing a shift from structured systems to a more open, authentic engagement with the world. By merging scientific concepts with emotional and sensory experiences, Jackson Collapse seeks to encourage audiences to reflect on their own relationship with time, space, and change. This evolving identity emphasizes resilience and adaptability in a rapidly transforming world.
